I’m Sick of HVAC Companies Scamming People in the Antelope Valley. So Read This First.
Hey, Kyle here. I run Air Supply and I’m sick of shady contractors tricking AV folks into buying $12,000 systems they don't need. We don't play those games. Look, half the emergency calls we get are total false alarms. Before you pay me or anyone else a $150 service fee, spend 3 minutes running these 3 stupid-simple checks. You might just fix it for free right now.

Check the Power & Batteries
Did it just lose power? Before you panic, check the simple stuff. First, look at the wall next to your indoor unit. There’s a switch that looks exactly like a regular light switch. Sometimes people bump it by accident and turn the whole system off. Flip it back on. Next, check your thermostat screen. Is it completely blank? Pop the cover off and put in two fresh AA batteries. Finally, walk over to your home’s breaker box. Look for the switch labeled "AC" or "Furnace." If it’s stuck in the middle, flip it all the way off, then click it back on. Boom. Fixed.

Check the Air Filter
Can your system breath? Your AC needs to breathe air to do its job. If it can't breathe, it panics and shuts down to save itself. Go pull out your air filter right now. Is it covered in a thick layer of dust and dog hair? If it looks like a matted carpet, it’s choking your system. This makes the machine overheat or turn into a literal block of ice. Put a brand new, clean filter in. If you don't have one, leave the dirty filter out and run the system for 15 minutes. If the air starts blowing normal again, you just solved the mystery.

Check the Water Drain
Is the safety switch tripped? When your AC runs, it creates water. That water normally flows outside through a little white plastic pipe. But sometimes, that pipe gets clogged with slime. When the water can't escape, a tiny safety float switch pops up like a jack-in-the-box. This instantly cuts all power to your system so it doesn't flood your house and ruin your ceilings. Go look at the white pipe or the metal pan under your indoor unit. Is there standing water? If yes, your drain is clogged. Clearing that pipe will bring your system back to life.
If you tried all three steps and your system is still dead, it’s time to bring in a pro. Enter your name, phone, couple words on what’s wrong & your zip code below to see if we have an Air Supply technician nearby right now.

Amazing experience all around! SO grateful for these guys. We woke up Saturday morning and the house felt FREEZING even for this time of year. Thermostat said 70 but it definitely wasn't 70 in the house. It was around 46 out, so we knew something wasn't kicking on. I messaged them here on Yelp and Kyle responded pretty quickly. He said he could stop by later that afternoon and actually showed up when he said he would which I wasn't expecting! He checked the furnace and told me the flame sensor was dirty and caused it to shut off after a few minutes. No idea what that means but he pulled it out, cleaned it, put everything back together, and waited to make sure it stayed running. Total time was maybe 45 minutes and with same day service?! We were grateful since we had family coming into town and we were ready to buy space heaters lol. Grateful to have a company this reliable in town. Thank you Kyle!

I called and Kyle the owner of Airsupply answered right away and got back to me promptly every time answered all my questions was courteous kind walk me through the process for me to understand that the new HVAC system and traded my home with Atmos Karen respect, including my animals so that they were safe and didn't end up in a straight or something and you one always worries about that sort of thing when you have workers in the home and indoor outdoor pets he was also very compassionate person and was even understanding when I had to reschedule because of a personal situation that came up and couldn't even contact him. He was clearly thoroughly knowledgeable in his field with hVAC systems and even willing to look at a couple of things on his own time as I am a recent widow, and my husband was a handyman so I have any questions he was here as well as his crew that work for him were excellent. I would recommend them 100% I already have!

I’ve used Air Supply Heating & Air Conditioning in Lancaster multiple times now, and every experience has been outstanding. The first time was for AC work, and more recently I had them out for furnace service. Both times they delivered nothing but top-tier service.
From start to finish, their team has been professional, responsive, and clearly committed to doing high-quality work. They take the time to explain what’s going on, walk you through your options, and make sure you feel confident in the decisions being made. It’s refreshing to work with a company that is both honest and highly skilled.
Kyle has been my main point of contact throughout, and he has been excellent every step of the way. His communication, knowledge, and attention to detail really stand out, and he always makes sure everything is handled the right way. Because of him and the team, they’ve earned a lifetime customer with me. If you’re looking for reliable HVAC work, whether it’s AC, furnace, or anything in between, I highly recommend Air Supply Heating & Air Conditioning. You won’t be disappointed!
